Activation Crate

Activation Crates are a type of wooden crate that appear in Crash Nitro Kart. Certain race courses and battle arenas have only one Activation Crate, and a racer can drive into it to activate a trap, the effect of which varies depending on the course. Activation Crates make a returning appearance in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled along with the stages in which they appear.
