Activision, otherwise known as Activision Publishing, Inc., is an American video game company that was founded in 1979. Starting with Crash: Mind Over Mutant, Activision has been the publisher for the Crash Bandicoot games, and they have published Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy in 2017 and Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled in 2019.
On July 9, 2008, the company was merged with Vivendi Universal Games, the owners of Sierra Entertainment and Blizzard Entertainment, to become Activision Blizzard. Since then, Activision has been a subsidiary of Activision Blizzard.
