Copter
It has been requested that this article be rewritten and expanded to expand upon their roles in each level.
The Copter, also known as the Heli-Pack,[1] is a vehicle used by Crash Bandicoot in Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex and Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced. It is similar to the Jetpack in that it allows Crash to move through the air, but the Copter uses a helicopter propeller to keep Crash afloat. In both games, the Copter is only used in lava levels, and is especially used to traverse over lava and wide areas.
In certain levels of Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced, Crash can retrieve the Copter by opening a Copter Crate. In the boss fight against Evil Coco and the second phase of N. Trance's boss fight, Crash is equipped with the Heli-Pack by default.
In Crash Bandicoot Purple: Ripto's Rampage, there is a trading card named Copter Crash that shows Crash flying with the Copter. It is designed after his sprite from Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced.
