Fake Crash is a clone of Crash Bandicoot with thick eyebrows and an overbite. His first appearance is in Crash Bandicoot: Warped.

Creation

Fake Crash was originally created by Naughty Dog when the team saw a cheap Japanese Crash toy with large teeth and eyebrows. They nicknamed the toy "Trash Bandicoot", and turned it into the character named Fake Crash. Fake Crash is, as his name implies, a poor imitation of Crash Bandicoot.[citation needed] He has very large eyebrows and teeth, and a really goofy voice. In the games, Fake Crash's origin is unknown.
