Ice Mines are power-ups that appear in Crash Nitro Kart. Upon picking up an Ice Mine from a Weapons Crate, a racer can either drop it behind them or alternatively throw it in front of them. If a racer drives into an Ice Mine, they are temporarily encased within a large block of ice. That racer can continue moving, although with slippery traction, and when the ice block thaws, they briefly spin out. Juiced Ice Mines trap a racer in an ice block for a longer period of time, and it also gives their kart less traction.
Regular Ice Mines are blue, and juiced ones are purple, but both have clear, light blue icicles hanging from them.
