Television
- In The Simpsons episode "Lisa gets an 'A'", Lisa Simpson is seen playing Dash Dingo, a parody of Crash Bandicoot. Even the logo is a parody of that of Crash Bandicoot.
- In an ad for Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, Crash Bandicoot appears in a hospital wing alongside Spyro and Sonic the Hedgehog, and all of them are wearing casts. Ty comes into the ward and frightens the trio. It is heavily implied that Ty beat up and hospitalized all three of them.
Video games
- A two-page magazine advertisement for the game Croc: Legend of the Gobbos shows a silhouette of what appears to be Crash Bandicoot, Mario, and Lara Croft is on the first page. On the second page, Croc is seen using a toothpick after having presumably eaten the characters, whose accessories are shown lying in front of them, one of them being Crash's shoes.
- Asterix & Obelix XXL 2 spoofs Crash Bandicoot with a giant bust found near statues of Donkey Kong and Princess Peach in a night-time area of Venetia. There are also some totems resembling Crash appearing in Pirate Island.
