Power Gems are an item in Crash Tag Team Racing.

Location and uses

Power Gems are a series of five dark purple gems. Each Power Gem unlocks one of the five areas in Von Clutch's MotorWorld. Every time Crash obtains a Power Gem in an attraction area, every Wumpa Whip, Wumpa Coin, and crate is reset.

The Power Gems can be found in the respective locations:

• Midway: When Crash first enter Midway at the start of the game, a cutscene plays in which he takes a Power Gem held by a giant Von Clutch statue. This Power Gem unlocks Mystery Island.
• Mystery Island: Found on a pedestal at the top area. It can only be reached if Crash pays eight Power Crystals to unlock the jump pad to it. This Power Gem unlocks Happily Ever Faster.
• Happily Ever Faster: This Power Gem unlocks Tyrannosaurus Wrecks
• Tyrannosaurus Wrecks: This Power Gem unlocks Tomb Town
• Tomb Town: This Power Gem unlocks Astro Land
