Pura (プーラ Pūra) is a tiger who made his debut in Crash Bandicoot: Warped as Coco's sidekick. In some levels, Pura assists her in crossing the Great Wall of China.
His next appearance was in Crash Team Racing as a playable character. He was in the "turning" (and thus beginner) category of kart-racers. In Crash Nitro Kart, Pura was brainwashed and became a part of N. Trance's team, Team Trance, along with Dingodile and Polar.
Pura is a playable character in Crash Boom Bang!. He is now anthropomorphic, wearing blue jeans and standing upright.
Trivia
- In Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex, Pura cameos in the opening and ending cinematic.
- Pura was originally to be a giant panda, but was changed to a tiger to avoid confusion with Polar.[citation needed]
