'''Chick Gizzard Lips''' or just simply '''Chick''', is a rooster news reporter for XYZ News (a parody of real world news channel ABC News). He is often seen alongside his fellow avian newscaster, Stew. He first appears in ''[[Crash Tag Team Racing]]'' and returns as the presenter for the [[CTR TV]] [[Grand Prix]] videos  and as a playable character in ''[[Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled]]''.

Chick’s feathers are light yellow and he has red plumage. His outfit is a light blue suit with the XYZ logo on its shirt pocket. Chick always carries a microphone, even when driving.

In ''Crash Tag Team Racing'', Chick first appears alongside Stew in the opening cutscene, where they report on the news of the farewell race at [[Von Clutch's MotorWorld]]. He appears in other cutscenes then after, notably giving [[Team Bandicoot]] the deed to MotorWorld in the ending cutscene. He can be seen as a NPC in the [[Midway]].
