Von Clutch is a short human-like robot with green skin, dark tone lips, green eyes, dark tone fingers and bald. As cyborg, Von Clutch has mechanical prostheses in place of the arms, left leg and torso. He wears a dark green pickelhaube, red-lensed goggles covering the right eye and uses a green tennis on right foot.

In ''[[Crash Tag Team Racing]]'', Von Clutch lived in a desperate crisis where all the [[Power Gem]]s have been stolen from his park and even his source of life that is the Black Heart Power Gem. Hopelessly, Von Clutch decides to inherit his park until the arrival of Crash Bandicoot and [[Dr. Neo Cortex]] with their groups that was his hope. For discovering that his park mascot Willie is responsible for stealing his Black Heart Power Gem, he goes after him along with Crash and his friends, but he is disabled after. Von Clutch is finally revived by Crash when he recovers his gem.

In ''[[Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled]]'', Ebenezer is introduced in the [[Neon Circus Grand Prix]] along with [[Koala Kong]] and Pasadena.
