The Invincibility Mask is a recurring item in the Crash Bandicoot franchise.

Location and uses

The Invincibility Mask is a weapon used in the racing titles Crash Team Racing, Crash Nitro Kart, and Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled. When used, it grants the user temporary invincibility, as well as allowing them to travel faster and knock out anyone else on contact. The Invincibility Mask used by a racer depends on their affiliation or the team that they are on, generally Aku Aku for the heroes and Uka Uka for the villains. An Invincibility Mask's juiced power-up has a longer duration effect. The Invincibility Mask does not protect its user from falling off the edge, and if this occurs, they even lose their Invincibility Mask prematurely.
