The Rocket Jump is an ability in Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced.
Overview[edit]
Rocket Jump is a Special Move that Crash obtains after defeating Evil Coco in a boss battle. By performing the move, Crash soars into the air vertically, allowing him to jump twice the height of the Double Jump. This way, Crash can reach certain high areas that are inaccessible even from a Double Jump. While performing a Rocket Jump, Crash's horizontal movements are restricted.

- Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced instruction booklet (page 14): "Twice as high as a double jump, this will shoot Crash straight up with limited horizontal control. Press and hold the L Button then press the A Button to perform the Rocket Jump."
