Cortex Castle is a castle that is owned by Dr. Neo Cortex in several Crash Bandicoot games. It first appears in Crash Bandicoot. The castle is located on an island titled Cortex Island, and its electricity appears to be sourced from Cortex Power, a power factory on the island.
In Crash Bandicoot, Crash's main goal is to reach Cortex Castle and rescue his girlfriend, Tawna. During the final battle against Neo Cortex, the castle is on fire, and is destroyed.
In Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, remnants of the castle appear in the levels Road to Ruin and Ruination.
