Castle Cortex[1][2], referred to as Cortex Castle in Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, is a castle that is owned by Dr. Neo Cortex in several Crash Bandicoot games. It first appears in Crash Bandicoot. The castle is located on an island titled Cortex Island, and its electricity appears to be sourced from Cortex Power, a power factory on the island.

In Crash Bandicoot, Crash's main goal is to reach Castle Cortex and rescue his girlfriend, Tawna Bandicoot. During the final battle against Neo Cortex, the castle is on fire, and is destroyed.

In Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, remnants of the castle appear in the levels Road to Ruin and Ruination.
