Island Intro is the first level of Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced. It is the tutorial level, and is where Aku Aku teaches Crash about the different types of crates and how to perform basic moves such as the Spin Attack. There are no enemies in the level.
Midway through the level, just before the Checkpoint Crate, a cutscene is shown in which Coco and Crunch are kidnapped by Dr. N. Tropy. Another cutscene is shown upon completing Island Intro, in which N. Tropy tries to kidnap Crash through a vortex, but is unsuccessful as Aku Aku uses most of his power to rescue Crash. As a result, Fake Crash is formed through the other side of the portal.
