Not to be confused with Arrow Crate.

Bounce Boxes,[1] also known as Wood Spring Crates,[2] Multiple-Hit Crates,[3] Spring Boxes,[4][5] and Bouncy Boxes[6] (also parsed bouncy boxes[7]) in the main series, and Wumpa Crates in the racing titles, are a recurring object in the Crash Bandicoot franchise.

Location and uses[edit]

Bounce Boxes are a type of crate that releases some Wumpa Fruit when broken. They first appear in the first game, Crash Bandicoot. In this game and the platforming games in general, Crash can usually jump on a Bounce Box up to five times, and each bounce earns him two Wumpa Fruits. Bounce Boxes often appear in pairs, one of them being directly above the other, and Crash can bounce between them to obtain their Wumpa Fruit before they break.

In the racing games, racers can drive into Wumpa Crates to earn some Wumpa Fruit.
