Boost Pads are a type of panel that give Crash or another character a brief burst of speed if passed over. They first appear in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, but are most prominently featured in the racing titles, in which they appear in most courses.

In Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, Boost Pads appear in the chase levels as well as Diggin' It and Bee-Having.

In Crash Bandicoot: Warped, Boost Pads appear in the four motorcycle levels: Hog Ride, Road Crash, Orange Asphalt, and Area 51?.

In Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure, Boost Pads appear in the chase sections of Snow Crash and Snow Job.

In Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced, Boost Pads appear in the atlasphere levels.

In the racing titles, Crash Team Racing, Crash Nitro Kart, Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 2, and Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, Boost Pads are green with black arrows. In Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled's Gingerbread Joyride course, Boost Pads are white with red arrows.
