Boost Pads are a type of panel that give Crash or another character a brief burst of speed if passed over.

In Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, their first appearance, Boost Pads appear in the chase levels as well as Diggin' It and Bee-Having.

In Crash Bandicoot: Warped, Boost Pads appear in the four motorcycle levels: Hog Ride, Road Crash, Orange Asphalt, and Area 51?.

In Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure, Boost Pads appear in the chase sections of Snow Crash and Snow Job.

In Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced, Boost Pads appear in the atlasphere levels.

Boost Pads appear the most prominently in the racing games, Crash Team Racing, Crash Nitro Kart, Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 2, and Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, appearing in a majority of the courses.
