N. Trance is a purple, egg-shaped character from the 5th Dimension. He first appears in Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced as one of the primary antagonists and as a teammate of N. Tropy. N. Trance has a removable robot body, and two golden arms, one of which sometimes ends with a roman numeral clock. N. Trance has the ability to hypnotize others, and has a hypnotic swirl on his robot suit.
In Crash Nitro Kart, N. Trance is one of the starting playable characters. He is the leader of Team Trance, and his teammates are Polar, Pura, and Dingodile, all of whom are under his control. N. Trance is also a playable racer in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled.
