General information
Physical appearance
Pura has the appearance of a tiger cub. He has striped orange fur which can be either light or dark, depending on the game. His ears are usually pointed, and his irises are usually green.
In Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex, Pura's fur is a darker shade of orange. Both is head and ears were made rounder, and Pura also received whiskers and longer claws. His irises were also made larger. It is the first game where Pura has V-shaped stripes on his forehead, although they were visible in his artwork for Crash Bandicoot: Warped and Crash Team Racing. These stripes do not appear on Pura's head in Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 2.
In Crash Nitro Kart, Pura more closely resembles his original PlayStation design, although with lighter fur and more visible teeth. Some stripes were added to his chest and cheeks.
In Crash Boom Bang!, Pura wears a pair of blue shorts. His irises were changed to light blue, and the insides of his ears are pink.
In Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, Pura has even brighter fur than in Crash Nitro Kart. His irises were changed to yellow, and a black stripe was added to the tip of his tail. Pura was also given a pair of prominent whiskers, three on each side.
