Snowscapes are very cold areas with abundant snowfall, and are sometimes composed mostly (if not entirely) of ice. Surfaces are often slippery, and the locations may include ice which characters must run, slide or use Polar. Some snowscapes may contain ice caves. Obstacles, enemies and bosses may take advantage of the slippery terrain.
