Robot Walkers are enemies that appear in the Crash Bandicoot franchise. They are mass-produced, Nuckelavee-based robots created by Dr. Neo Cortex.

History[edit]

Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back[edit]

In Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and the remaster of the second game from Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Robot Walkers appear as enemies encountered in two levels: Piston It Away and Spaced Out. Its head is similar to those of the Scrubber and the Sparky Tentaclebot Unit.

In gameplay, due to heated hulls protecting their respective heads, the player can neither jump on nor spin the Robot Walkers without taking damage. Similar to Cyborg Lizards, the Robot Walkers only walk back and forth. Only a slide attack can defeat them.

Robot Walkers are among a few enemies from Crash 2: Cortex Strikes Back not to appear in Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled[edit]

Robot Walkers do not appear in Crash Team Racing. However, they truly return in the game's remake, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled. Here, they retain their appearance in Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.
