Dr. N. Tropy is the final level of the Oriental Location and eighteenth level overall in Crash Bandicoot: Warped and its remake, containing the boss of the same name. Crash must defeat Dr. N. Tropy in order to progress. Like the other boss levels, Crash will receive a new power-up once the boss is defeated, that being the Death Tornado Spin.
Overview[edit]
When Crash enters the level, N. Tropy is seen adjusting a clock, which he knocks down as he notices the marsupial and begins the battle. When N. Tropy slams the ground with his tuning fork, three rows of platforms will appear. He will fire clocks engulfed in flames or blue light toward Crash, who must jump over them, which is then followed by firing rows of orange electricity from his tuning fork that sweep across the floor. N. Tropy then slams the ground again and change the platforms to be scattered, leading up to his side of the arena. Crash can then make his way across and attack him. N. Tropy will appear on the side Crash started on and reset the platforms, reducing them to only two rows. He will repeat his attack pattern, and after being hit again, will reduce the platforms down to one row. When N. Tropy is defeated, Crash will do a victory pose and go back to the Time Twister.
