Ice Mines are an item in Crash Nitro Kart.
Location and uses[edit]
An Ice Mine is a power-up, and when it is picked up from a Weapons Crate, a racer can either drop it behind them or alternatively throw it in front of them. If a racer drives into an Ice Mine, they are temporarily encased within a large block of ice. That racer can continue moving, although with slippery traction, and when the ice block thaws, they briefly spin out. Juiced Ice Mines trap a racer in an ice block for a longer period of time, and it also gives their kart less traction. Regular Ice Mines are blue, and juiced ones are purple, but both have clear, light blue icicles hanging from them.
