Crash Bash is the first party game in the Crash Bandicoot franchise, created similarly to the Mario Party series. It was originally developed for the PlayStation, and was released in 2000. Crash Bash is the first Crash Bandicoot game that was not developed by Naughty Dog, as it was developed by Eurocom Entertainment Software and Cerny Games instead. Like the previous Crash Bandicoot titles, Sony Computer Entertainment was the publisher for Crash Bash, although it was the last Crash Bandicoot game to be published by Sony.
