It is the fifth game of the main series and the eleventh game of the Crash Bandicoot franchise overall. The game received two mobile versions, Crash Twinsanity 3D and a 2D eponymous mobile game, the former of which was released in June 2004, a few months before Crash Twinsanity itself. Crash Twinsanity is infamous for having a lot of unused content.
